I am retired and finally have more time to dedicate to my wide variety of knitting, quilting (mostly) and anything that involves a needle and thread. My good friend has been helping me perfect my quilting skills. I am a Pastor's wife; mother of three; grandmother of five. I live in the country which makes it hard when I run out of something before I am finished...I am new to this message board and am looking forward to being a part of it.

Yes retirement is great but from the very next day after my retirement I received phone calls such as "since you have nothing to do now, can you?" I am busier now doing my quilting and babysitting my grandchildren once in a while; and since my husband is a brand new pastor, that is making my life full!
