You're more than welcome here, Henry. I am a beginner, too. I can't even begin to describe all the tips and ideas that I have gleaned from this message board. Everyone is soooo helpful!

Henry,
I think it is great that you are learning this craft in honor of your grandparents! I have enjoyed your pictures-you do great things! Thanks for sharing with us! :-)

Henry: In a psot to Sharon, you mentioned you are in the Raleigh area. If you want classes or instruction face to face, try some of the local quilt shops. The people on the board have laways been a big help to me coming up with ideas that I never would have thought of. There is the Capital Area Quilters Guild in Raleigh if that is your bag. Also try your local library. I have found some pretty good books on quilting from there as well. Or just holler out your question and anyone will be happy to answer and/or help you. No one has ever made anyone else feel foolish because they asked a question. Good luck!
Vicki
