The other sections of the shirts could be used to match a scrappy patchwork type quilt. I hadn't gotten back into quilting when my father passed so I didn't think to try to save his old clothing for making a quilt in his memory. Good luck with your quilting project. Hello, I cut up old shirts in strips and these are good for log cabins or scrappy quilts etc
BUT I also found a pillow cover made with a shirt that is awesome. http://modifytradition.blogspot.com/...h-pockets.html Very easy to do :-) |
