I've been following the Quilting Board for a year now - and love all the advice, inspiring projects, and teachings. The photos are my most favorite posts. Seeing all the vintage machines warms my heart - bringing back memories of my grandmothers' and mother's machines. I haven't found a working vintage Singer yet -- but am hopeful that some day I will be the one to post a photo of MY new featherweight. Perhaps one of the most encouraging things I've received from this site is that other women have several sewing machines. I only have 4 --- :)

Jerry Sink of Sinks Sewing Service in Lebanon IN has two Featherweights for sale. At least he did a couple of days ago. I had him take out the broken bulb on my FW and he only charged me $2.51 for the new bulb. A really nice guy.
