I live in the Upper Pen. of MI., and I am retired. I live in the country. I have two grandchildren. A husband that I am with for the last 44 years. We have two dogs that my husband and I both treasure. We don't have them trained as much as they have us trained. I just starting quilting and machine embroidery, love them both. I have done sewing and knitting off and on since high school.

Thank you, we have been in lower Michigan a few times. Last time was about 5 years ago when we went to the Ford Mus.

Hi Nutty Grandma and welcome to the Board. We have many things in common: new quilters, just starting to do machine embroidery, and living in MI. I, too, am retired and just returning to my passion of sewing. You will love this Board; there are so many great ladies here who are so very helpful no matter what your problem or question is.
You will find, however, that it is very easy to become addicted to this Board. It can be very time consuming.
