peddlecar quilts 06-16-2011 07:09 AM

Hi, I am Diane Nagle and I design for 4 fabric companies as an independent contractor. I design patterns for new fabric lines, piece the quilts, and long arm them. They then go off to spring or Fall Market in Houston to hang in booths to show off the new fabric lines, helping the companies sell their fabrics. Sometimes they go straight to different magazines and I have over 20 quilts published so far since I started my home business about 4 years ago. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so it is wonderful to be able to work at my own speed and schedule from home and be able to accomodate my illness when I need to. I've been quilting steady now since 1999, had loved it in the 1970's until my RA stopped my ability to hand quilt. Once I discovered machine quilting in 1999 I have been doing it non stop as I love it so much! I am so grateful to work at something I love.
