I am a beginner....just made my first block. I don't know if I will get addicted to quilting but I'll give it a go. It's surprising to me how many people know of Redding.

Yes this seems to be a great place. I've already come into contact with a quilter on this site who lives 45 min. from me and it turns out we have the same model sewing machine.

Isn't it wonderful! You will find so many wonderful people on the board. We have been getting together in our area and it has been a lot of fun. Our group is growing! Last year a handful of us spent the weekend at the beach and had such a wonderful time.

My Grandparents had the old farm at the bottom of Churn Creek Road. My aunt and uncle still live there. I also have more family in the area. Our very dear friends had the bakery in Shingletown, Auntie Bo's for years. Such a wonderful place.

Also a welcome from Washington. I used to live in Corning, south of Red Bluff. Warning, the Quilt Board is addicting.
