I've been watching from the shadows for a few days. I guess it's time I showed myself.
I took an early retirement a few years ago only because I could.
I soon got bored and tried sewing for spending money which didn't work very well. I was getting stuck with completed items so I switched to cooking. I figured if I got stuck with the food I could feed it to my husband.
I sew every chance I get though and have recently got the quilting fever. My sister and I both have the fever and we try sewing together at least once per week and more often when we can.
I have already learned a few things from ya'll and look forward to learning more.
Can someone tell me how to take my location out of hiding too?

It depends on the amount of posts you make . She doesn't look like a killer. She's prcious :)

waladopa 02-25-2011 05:24 PM

Welcome from Texas!

To show your location, click on "My Profile" at the top of the page. Scroll down to "General Information" and there is a place to include your location.

Both quilting and this board are very addictive. I'm glad you have your sister to share it with.

Go to "My Profile" at the top of this page and fill in the space "location" with what you want. Love your baby. I had one like her that passed away in January. Hope you enjoy this Board as much as I do:)

And you'll love doing the kaleidoscope, I did one years ago, with 28 shades of blue, and about a thousand pieces, but it is still one of my favorites. Welcome from Canada.

mtspools 02-25-2011 08:40 PM

i just not real sure yet how to do the cloth --i know you find repeats and cut then stack on top of each other. Then what do I do?Do i cut that in to strips and out of the strips cut my triangles?
