Welcome and you've come to the right place. Like bearisgray stated, Jinny Beyer does mostly hand piecing and quilting. Many do their work by hand and they have no machine. Many do both.

Dear Ezradaisy, welcome from New York state! I'm glad that you learned the basics from your Aunt and that you've finally took the easy step to become a member here on the QB! I'm sorry for your mentors passing. However, a piece of her lives on with you and your passion for quilting. I'm also glad that your mom is doing better. I hope she remains in remission.
