Hi! My name is Chris and I live not far from Montgomery, Al. I'm a self taught quilter because it wasn't until few years ago that I thought I was even interested in quilting but have watched quilting shows for years so I figured had to nothing lose, lots to gain by trying. Have been mainly a garment sewer since sewing classes at the Singer store before going to jr high, and all four years of high school. I wouldn't trade those lessons for anything in the world!
I still have lots of questions,to learn and want to try. Now that my grandkids are not little babies anymore and don't need as many clothes, I want to find something else that interests me before I no longer want or can't sew anymore. And I hope that never happens! I want to go to the nursing home with my machines!!!
