I have two Bernia machines and I love them. Lots of strength
in the gear system and not that difficult to learn. Get out your manual and start on some scraps. You'll love it.

Welcome from northeast Georgia. Don't get rid of the machine, it's a good one. You might be able to get a manual for it online from Bernina.

I found site yesterday too. I think I love it...I love seeing other peoples work, its very inspiring. You can probably get an answer to any question you have too. :mrgreen:

Welcome from TX. I don't know anything about that machine, but have a Bernina that is going strong after more than 20 years, so I think it would be a shame to give up on yours. Probably there will be someone on this board who has one and can offer helpful hints.
