I am new to this site, I have quilted for 20+ years and have just been asked to make a baby quilt for a friend of a friend. They have husky dogs and would like fabric with husky's in it. She has found some on line, but it is quite pricey - $20+ per yard. I am not comfortable using it. Any suggestions or has anyone seen similar fabric? Thanks

Welcome. I saw some fabric at Whittles that might work. Look up their sight and possibly call them. Alot of the fabric in their store is not on their web page. Good luck!!

Hello and welcome try ebay for your fabric.
|
do a search- there are plenty of fabrics available with dogs on it for the $5-$10 price range...unless you are out of the country- then it may be more difficult-
when members choose to be (hidden) it is pretty hard for us to really help- since location does matter- but doing a search for animal cotton prints- or dog cotton prints should put you in contact with many- in many price ranges |

Start a post in the Classified section and title it "ISO husky dog fabric" (iso=in search of). Anyone that has fabric for sale will see that and reply to you if they have any they are willing to part with. Hope that helps! |

Hi and welcome from Lowell, MA. I know I've seen fabric shops on line that specifically deal with unique animal fabrics, I'm just now sure where to begin to look. Now, I hope I've been helpful, but Crafty Bear has lots of websites that she has shared, maybe she could help. Good luck.

Since University of Washington mascot is the husky, there are alot of fabrics up here that you could get with the picture. Type in Husky fabric the one that I found is selling for $8.98 yd.
Also http://www.spoonflower.com/tags/siberian%20husky has a lot of fabrics. |
Hello from the Indy area. Where in IN are you? I agree with Abby'sMom to try Hot Diggity Dog. They have lots of things available in almost all breeds and not too expensive. I was just at that site last week. Just google them and go from there.
