Hello from South Carolina. Give us clue as to what you are using mesh for.
|
I have seen it at the LQS, and online, too, but I have no idea where. Are you going to use it in bags, like a tote bag?
|
Hello and welcome from Minnesota.
Now you've got me interested in the vinyl mesh! What's it for? |
I used it for beach bags for my daughter and her friend. I got it in blue at a LQS in Philadelphia, PA area, and then wanted black for my daughter and got pet screen (vinyl) at a local hardware store. It was a lot cheaper. There are also various online places with different colors. I just noticed the other day they had a couple colors at a Ben Franklin in the area. Good luck. My original post and pic can be seen here http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-52871-1.htm The idea is that the sand would go through the mesh at the bottom. The girls loved them.

Hello, welcome from Oklahoma!

Thanks everyone. This is my first time to join a chat group. I think I'm going to enjoy it. Talking about your project with others that share your hobbies keeps me motivated.
I'm using the vinyl mesh to make bags. So far I've made 2 of them. If I can figure out how to download a photo I will. The first one I did was with a fabic called "Flirty Fifties" very retro and fun. The second on is for my 6 year old granddaughter the is on the swimming team. The fabric I used for that has all kinds of little kids swimming on a blue background. I love to quilt but I'm not a very good and finishing them. I have several tops done and my goal is to get those UFOs under control. |
So glad to have you with us. This is a great place to share and learn.
