I guess it is high time that I registered and became a legal looker. I have been reading "most watched" for months, but was in the process of moving from one ridge to another and that entailed going from rural dial-up, (UGH), to wireless, (Whoopie)! So, new phone #, new e-mail addy, new address and best of all, new home. So things have been hectic for several months now and although I still have not gotten everything moved over, the important thing is the stash and machines, not to mention things like beds and chairs and such. I so enjoy this message board, but like everyone else, I spend WAY too much time here, but have learned so much, thanks to all you wonderful and generous quilters.

Well, lets see if I qualify..Born in Allouez at grandparents house, live in Houghton, we moved to Battle Creek where I grew up, spent all my summers at Allouez or Freda where my brother lived. After I married, we moved to White Pine and later Topaz. Although I spent 30 yrs in CO, my heart and my tap root are in the UP and will be as long as I live.
