I have seen a few of the people on this forum who are looking for a machine quilting frame that you can use your own machine on. I found this website and got the pattern from the gentleman who designed it and it's wonderful. I had it built and it will be delivered to my home in the next couple days and I can post pictures, but if you want to check the guys site out his website is www.buildaquiltingframe.com. It is well worth the $19.95 to immediately download the plans or $22.95 to have the CD mailed to you. If you have any questions you are more than welcome to email me.

Welcome and perhaps you or someone could enlighten me, How does the frame work with your machine? I'm not picturing this in my mind??? |
Welcome Sandy from Washington State!
My DH who designs and builds things all the time was about to order those plans and build me one. However, I found a Grace quilt frame within a few hours drive from us on craigslist (all time favorite place to purchase used items). When we looked at it he told me it was great and about the same price it would cost him to build me one. Can't wait to see your photos and find out how it is for you to use once you get it. You must be very excited. :-D |

I have poles and a frame from a handquilting kit. I wonder if I could use those and just build or buy the box the machine sets in and the gears. Would it fit? |
