Welcome to the Board from SoCal Rob! Sounds like you're off to a great start. My first blocks were all hand-sewn too....but they didn't make it into a quilt. lol A few became pillows tho'. Looking forward to seeing some pictures...we LOVE pictures! :D

Hi from Iowa, I know some men quilters, one gave me his opinion on fabric for my border. too bad the fabric i had laying there was the blocks of my quilt and i wanted something to go with them. You will really like us here.

Don't let these wimmin get to ya. We menfolk have already shown we can quilt with, if not the best of them, the next rank down. Look up some of my posts and you will see. Henry does some nice work, Steve does some intensely technical stuff. My stuff seems to be whimsical and technical at the same time.
