I have been spending many hours browsing and 'lurking' and thought "What better group of people to hang out with." The 'tuts' are great and so informative, the BOM's look like alot of fun, and am loving all the beautiful pics of blocks, quilts, and other projects you all are doing. Last, but not least, there is so much knowledge, helpfulness, support, and encouragement here. Joining this site may be the 'kick in the pants' I needed to get a couple (OK maybe more) UFOs out of the closet and finish them.

Welcome from the Capitol City of Minnesota!!!! Great to have you here. Central Minnesota -- near Lake MilleLacs?????? That is central, right? I get so darn confused when the weathermen say the ice storm is coming from north central Minnesota. Why don't they just say "The MilleLacs area"! I would love to know where St. Paul is situated - other than near the Wisconsin border, in a bit, just follow the freeway. Anyhow, you are going to love it here. I have learned more than you can imagine......all the way from how to fussy-cut a triangle square to recipes. And, I have to tell you that these recipes are not gourmet. They are down home, stick to the ribs comfort food, right Ladies??????
Enjoy your time here - it wakes me up in the morning and I do so look forward to reading it. Sure beats the newspaper!!!! Edie |
