Welcome from Ohio. I find I do the same...traditional (mostly) in quilting, but more modern in wall hangings. I think the wall hangings, especially holiday themed, are more fun in a modern style.

welcome from OK...and NO you are not alone...by creating on a smaller scale it enhances our techniques, builds our confidence...and takes less time than a larger quilt..so we get MORE done..hehehe

A big welcome from the state of Texas. I like several different styles in quilting. I usually go for a look that best fits the personality/style of the person who will be receiving the quilt.

Welcome from South Carolina!! I love all my Janome machines too, they are THE best in my opinion. Traditional vs. Modern I tend to be drawn to more modern patterns, not that I dont have an appreciation for the traditional ones though.
