Well if you're going to be stuck some where, I guess Florida is an ok place to live. :D We're in Tampa now, but we lived in JAX for 5 years and I used to work at The Olde Green Cupboard (the best fabric store ever).

I homeschool my 15 year old son. My 19 year old daughter is in college 30 minutes away but sews with me every chance she gets. My husband works from home too, so we're always together. It's nice to be together all the time, but when I've had too much, I go hide in my sewing room.

I have two dogs and two cats. One dog and one cat follow me every where and my cat, Mu Mu, knows how to sew. Really! His favorite part is picking out the fabric. :)

I was just there on Tuesday. It's pretty up there. Do you live by any natural springs? Are there quilt stores in Gainesville? Also, if you watch this site http://www.oldegreencupboard.com/ogc_retreat.html We have really great retreats. We're meeting up at Camp Blanding in a few weeks. They fill up very fast though.
