Hi, I am new to the quilter's message board, and fairly new to quilting. I have enjoyed reading your comments for a year now, learned a lot, enjoyed the community.
I am in the process of making a "bookshelf" for my sister (she is a librarian and likes to play wood-wind instruments - flutes that is). My idea is to put a flute (in paper piecing method) on the shelf, but I haven't been able to find anything like it. I have found a clarinette for applique. Thank you for welcoming me to the community. |
I LOVE bookshelf quilts!! I have the patterns printed and am trying to convince myself to try one.
Have you Googled bookshefl quilts and looked at the dozens on pictures that come up? You may find a flute idea there. Some of the things people have done with them are amazing. Please post pictures as you go along. I need a couple of nudges to get me going on mine. :) |
Hello, and welcome from Missouri.
Have you tried paperpanache.com for ideas? Please post picture of your project in various stages! We love pictures! |
