I've thoroughly enjoyed looking and learning from all of you very talented quilters. I have my morning coffee and quiet time with all of you every day in the early hours - I'm awake with the chickens. I've been quilting since 2003 and regret that I didn't start much sooner, but I had convinced myself that working full time and quilting when I had a spare moment would frustrate me, so I waited until I retired. I will say I am making up for lost time, however, and thoroughly enjoying myself. I have made many traditional quilts, but my favorites are landscape, portrait, and artsy projects - what I call 'playing.' I've wanted to comment many times on posts and just didn't get around to registering. So, here I am, and happy to be among you all.
