I've been sewing ever since I could sit to a machine and love it.

Welcome from Missouri - hope you keep all of your scraps that you have left over from your other sewing - what kind of sewing have you done?

Welcome from southern California. You don't have to be a great sewer to be a quilter. I am a hand quilter and do very little on a sewing machine. The only sewing a do on a machine is a straight stitch to sew my pieces and blocks together. I say that I am a quilter not a sewer.
