Hi everyone, I am Katy from Queensland Australia. I have been watching for a long while but only just posted in the last week. I enjoy any kind of sewing and have made two large King size and a few small quilts. I work part time in high care , aged care nursing, mostly with dementias and find it very rewarding. I have 4 grandchildren and a new one on the way in March. We came to Australia from New Zealand 12 years ago and love it here

I am in Melbourne and I too, am a grandmother to 3 lovely grandchildren.
I have made a few cot quilts but am now venturing out bigger by buying a Grand Quilter machine and Grace Imperial frame.
Expensive investment but like you, years of working in High Care Dementia and its now time for 'me' :wink:
