Just started to learn quilting and my name is Rick. My wife bought me a Bernina and the cruel joke is they won't have it at the store until this Tuesday. Is it Tuesday yet?

Greetings from New Hampshire.
It's closing in on Tuesday.
I have an old Bernina 1030 - a real workhorse and I love it.
Get their walking foot if one didn't come with the machine.
Pricey but worth it. Don't fool around with a substitute.

Thanks. I am very sure I will need lots of advice.

I am enrolled in a beginners class that lasts 8 weeks and meets one time per week starting Feb 24th. I am pretty excited about that too. First project in class is a small quilt. I plan on taking the intermediate and advanced classes thereafter.

I am attending a machine lesson today and again this coming Saturday so I suppose I will just get to know the machine between now and when class starts. It might be good to learn terminology too. With that said, I have a lot to do.

Thanks for the welcome...
