Hi everyone,

So happy to have found this site and look forward to utilizing every aspect of it. Love all it has to offer. I always wanted to learn to quilt and when health issues forced me into early retirement in 2009 I could not think of a better time to take up the one thing I could only dream about! So far I have made eight quilts and there is no stopping me now. Bonnie

You go girl. I am in Spring Valley and have a hard time finishing quilts. I love starting new ones and ending up with tops or partial tops.

Hi MinnieKat,
I used to live in East Grand Forks when I was a kid. I grew up in Wisconsin and transplanted here in San Diego in 1981. Don't miss the snow but sure do miss everything else about the mid-west. Take care and thanks for the welcome. Bonnie

Hi nana pat,
I might be in the same boat as you if I were not taking classses as they keep me on track. I am working on one quilt on my own and so far am seriously lagging on completing it!!! You should open an on-line store or sell your quilt tops on ebay as lots of people like to just buy the tops so they can customize the long arm stitching and backing. Take care and thank you so much for the welcome. Bonnie

Hey, and welcome from another Louisianian. I'm in Iberia Parish.

So mms, are those your grandchildren? Mt grandchildren and greatgrandchildren don't make me a BETTER quilter, but they do make me quilt MORE.

Greetings and welcome from Oregon City, OR. I had to retire due to health issues too! Funny, it never occurred to me while working that this could EVER happen. Am happily quilting away with plans to make one for all 14 grandchildren. Have about 8 done!
