Hi and welcome from North Carolina. Sounds like a good deal, if I could afford it I would go for it.

Thanks everyone. :-)

I will speak more with my sister and see what she says. I will go have the lady give me a demo and see if I think I will like it. Also, the LQS will give me lessons on their long-arm, so I should probably do that first.

Hi! Welcome from Oklahoma!!!

Sharon,
Come join us next Thursday, 10/2/08, at our locat High Desert Quilt Guild meeting. I would love to introduce you to my sister and our friends. We won't have a guest speaker next month as we had one last month, but we will start off the new year with some speakers and classes you might enjoy. We meet the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church. Come early and we can get a quick bite to eat first.
E-mail me if you can.

Welcome from Newfoundland Canada!

I'd snap that deal up quickly! But first I'd get a demonstration to make sure the thing is working good.

Hi and welcome from GA. What have you decided abou the frame and machine?

sandybeach 10-08-2008 06:25 AM

Not yet. Have been too busy to get over to see a demo. Also would like to take long-arm lessons from the LQS then perhaps just rent their machine.

i don't know much about this topic as i tie my quilts, but i'm thinking it may sound expensive now but you and your sister will surely get your moneys worth out of it..... in the long run, it'll be cheapier to buy it. hope this makes sense.....
ps...... welcome from WA :D
