Hello, well i finally decided to join. I have been here for a long time now but i never had the nerve to join. I am quite shy and like to stay in the background. I have been making quilts now for a few years and i have learnt so much from you all. Your work just leaves me speechless. i love it all. i hope one day to be as good. I have been married now for 34 years and have two grown kids and three grandbabies. As soon as i figure out how i will post pictures of some of my quilts.
Have a great day all

Hi Kathy! I am from PA, too, Pennsburg, near Quakertown. Are you familiar with either place? I am shy too, but love to see what everyone is doing! Maybe some day I will get un-shy and show something I have done . . . . maybe! So nice to meet you! Are you in Berks County, or is the town, city, etc. called Berks? Char

Hi ya Kathy, welcome from northern Virginia. I, like you, hid and peeked around the corner for a year before I spoke up, an article about Wal-mart, wouldn't you just know it. This is a fun place.

Welcome Kathy from another PA quilter.

turtlerouge 03-20-2010 03:36 AM

hi stitchinfind: I'm chris i'm from clearfield county in pa.

welcome :D

have you visited the quilters chat room? they are great chatters (group of quilters) we chat about anything plus quilting.

you don't have to chat on it but visit it & just read the conversations people talk about.

feel free to pm me if you are homesick for a pa quilter.

Norabanadquilts is from the lower border part of pa.

Oh, norabanaquilts tells me there are alot of quilters here that are from pa & we are going to try & maybe meet someplace in the middle to meet & greet plus do some sewing if possible. If we can, we would like to do a weekend retreat someplace in pa.

Would you like to be involved in meeting, greeting, & maybe going on a retreat.

I know you said your shy, but God does open doors ;-)

pm me & let me know please what you think, alright?

Welcome from MN! I went to middle school and high school in PA - West Chester to be exact - and will be going back in September for my 20th hs reunion! I would LOVE to visit Chester County Quilts while I am there - and any other place that is somewhat close to West Chester! Can you tell me where it is and give me some more ideas of where to quilt shop??

Thanks - and again, welcome!!!
