Hello, I'm a new quilter, trying to make a quilt for each of my 15 grandchildren. Almost done and after taking a few classes, find improvement since my first quilts. My son took pity on me after my first attempt (really bad) and said I'll take it mom. I made him promise he wouldn't tell anyone that I had made it. (teehee) Am very impressed with the beautiful quilts shown on this site. I often just play games on the puter, however find I can spend hours reading things here...I really need to get back to the sewing machine!

Welcome from NM. There are some special bragging rights to having your first quilt so your son was smart to claim the first one. :)

Welcome to the Quilting Board. I miss the days I spent in Michigan, clomping through that woods, looking for Morel Mushrooms.
