Thanks Jackie: I appreciate your response. I am working on another quilt, so the crazy quilt in on hold; this gives me time to consider ideas for the next step. I like the idea of tying even if there is no batting or backing. We shall see. It is freezing here in Westminster (Denver) so it is a good day to quilt.
