Hi
My name is Linda and I am recently retired from a 37 year career in nursing, 23years were in the Navy. My most recent boss introduced me to the world of quilting. I tended to be a workaholic and she encouraged me to get a hobby to take my mind off work. Boy what a God send this has been! So much so that I decided to retire to have more time to quilt! My mother and grandmother were both sewers, clothing and quilts. My sisters are thrilled that one of us are following in their footsteps. I love the newsletter and am learning so much from all of you! Thanks |

Ok. Here is my first question. I am machine quilting in the ditch or by making a grid with painters tape and then stitching along my tape. My quilting stitches are really short but when I stitch on cloth, without sandwiched material they are normal. I use a walking foot. What am I doing wrong?
