Trying to introduce myself but am not finding how to do just that so I'll just try this and see if it works!
I just returned from Maui where I searched for a true hawaiin fabric store. Upon finding one I purchased 18 yards of large hawaiian prints in 9 different patterns. I did not have a plan! Upon thinking about making a quilt with large blocks of colors I'm not sure that will turn out as I'd like it w/o some other cutting/fabric technique going on. I want it to be simple and will probably just yarn tie the layers together. Anyone with suggestions would be really appreciated! Thanks, Janzki :-D

I am not sure how this works because I got notification that I have a message and it says "Hi Elaine" which is not my name. Am I doing something wrong? Interesting though, I grew up in Mn. and in early September was there for a week to do some sightseeing and visiting with family and friends. My parents live there. Always enjoy the visit and since my last three trips were in brutal winter I was delighted to be there with 60 degree temps and a bit of rain!
