Hi to all you quilters out there. I have always wanted to quilt. My husband surprised me with a new sewing machine for Christmas. So, now I'm looking for help to get started on making a quilt. Hope that I can find the help I need.

Welcome Red Bird

I am a self taught quilter--Started out with no knowledge of Quilting at all. I read books -looked at videos got tips front internet. I really wanted to make quilts---I expermented a lot and learned a lot. Be patient and take your time. Dont be afraid to try different things. I started out with cheaper materials before I used my gtood STUFF. I made a lot of goofs but I got better as time went by. Good Luck in your new adventure
