Hello, I new to this quilt web site. I've been quilting for over 20 years but I'm always looking for new ideas or ways to get rid of my scraps. It seems they just multiply so easy. I've own my own quilt store for eleven years. I still do machine quilting for my self and once in a while a friend. Looking forward to seeing what everybody is doing and what they are interested in.

Welcome to the Board! I'm sure you're going to love it here...as for scraps, if you can't find time to use them all you can always donate them to your local quilt guild for their charity quilts. I'm sure all quilt guilds do this...I know ours does and they appreciate all fabric donations...scraps or otherwise.

I live in a town of about 3500 people and work night shift. I don't get off of work until midnight if I don't work over time. The quilt guild in this area are mostly people come and watch the program then go home. Not much activity going on in this town. I'm so far out in the boon docks that there is not even a stop light in the whole county.
