I just found this site. Don't know why I didn't see it before. I've been quilting for awhile but this is the first time I've been on a site with other people. I'm in the process of making a Judy Neimeyer, Bali Wedding Ring. I alway said that I didn't want to make a wedding ring, they just looked to difficult. This is my second one. I live in Weatherford Texas and have for about 6 years. Look forward to hearing from others. Happy Quilting

Hi. I just finished a Judy Neimeyer Christmas tree skirt. They are not as difficult as you think. My problem is deciding on the fabric combination. I am doing another one of hers, Mariners Compass. Probably take me forever to get this one done, lol.

Hi and welcome from another Texan. Glad you joined us. I agree, the wedding ring quilts look hard. I've not done much with curves. Be sure you let us see pics :D

Hello and Welcome from another Texan, I am in Bluff Dale, close to Stephenville, I am sure you will love this board, everyone is so helpful and friendly. Glad to have you here. Maybe we can get together sometime soon and have lunch, there is a few other ladies that live close by, that would be fun. Take care and hope you will enjoy being a part of this board.

Do you belong to the Stephenville guild. I belong to the guild in Weatherford. A few of the girls from the Stephenville guild belong to my guild also. Come and visit us.

Hello, no I don't belong to any quilting quild, I would love to but with my hubby not in good health at all I just can't leave him alone very much so I just stay here and so what sewing I can get done, I am working with Debbie Umphress here on the board with some sewing for her project linus group. There is no getting better for him, so its just a matter of time so thats why I stay here at home most of the time. Because you never know what will happen and when, I would never get over it if something were to happen I me not be here. Know what I mean. But maybe one day I can get out long enough to come over to Weatherford and join you and your group. Sure will try to before to long, if you are ever over this way give me a call and maybe we can meet up somewhere and maybe have lunch. That would be fun. So take care and keep in touch.

Hi, I have been only quilting for about 3 years, but I LOVE IT!! I do not like to do house work, I would much rather quilt. We just moved to Pflugerville, TX one year ago from Atlanta, GA. We moved to Atlanta from West Monroe, LA and we had lived there for 20 years, we are originally from Kankakee, IL. We moved to the south in 1985 and we love it. I would love to talk to others that love quilting has much as I do. Hope to hear from you.

Hi
Where is Pflugerville in relation to Weatherford?

quiltin tyme 11-29-2010 06:04 AM

Hi
I've seen a lot of messages from all over but you are from my neck of the woods. I lived in So Cal most of my life and graduated from Azusa High School when it was a brand new high school. Glad to hear from you.

Right on the edge of North Austin and on the east edge of Round Rock and just south of Georgetown. Since we just moved here I have no idea where Weatherford is, sorry.
