Welcome from Southern California. I am the same way when it comes to FMQ. I don't dare to try it and all my quilts so far where finished with decorative stitches or sent to LAQ. Hopefully if all goes well i will get my LA next week. Good luck

Again thank you all for the warm welcomes and the fmq-ing encouragement. I have started to do the fmq on a wallhanging that is for myself. My seam ripper and I have once again become close friends. LOL
