My name is Mary and I live in the tulip city of Holland, Michigan. I have been quilting now for nearly 2 years (but yet have not finish the quilt that I am making). I never realized that it takes a long time to make a quilt. I like to create my own designs. Right now I am working on a design for a wall quilt to give to my doctor. I had bariatric surgery in November and if it wasn't for the caring hands of my doctor and his staff I could of not of lost nearly 60lbs so far. I want to make a wall quilt for his office to show my appreciation.
I am having a hard time coming up with just the right design for the wall quilt right now. Maybe one of you could give me some ideas. |

Hello and welcome from Minnesota!
Years ago when I was living in Michigan, I attended the Holland Tulip Festival. Downtown, there was a very nice quilt show and I remember the dancers in the street. I thoroughly enjoyed wandering through vast fields of tulips in a wide array of colors. I still have a small tulip quilt to commemorate the occasion. You will learn so much here! Enjoy! |
