Hi, my name is Helen, I live in the North east of New Mexico in a little town of I40. I run a Motel on Route 66 and also work full time at the local gas station. I was introduced to quilting from a lady that goes to church with my Mum, almost 3 years ago now. I am a fabric-holic and have many UFO already!!!. I have many cats and Chihuahuas here with me plus a hubby. No Rug rats.

Hello Helen also from New Mexico. I live 30 east of Albuquerque in a small town off of I40. Reading your intro I could have been reading about myself. I too started sewing about 2 1/2 years ago. I don't have cats or kids but I have 6 chihuahuas that are my kids. I use to be a police officer in NC but had to medically retire. My hubby moved be back to NM (I was born and raised in Albuquerque) and now since I am 100% disabled, I work on making quilts and a lot of other things when the pain permits me too.

Hi and welcome to New Mexico. I live in N.M. too. Born here ,but lived in Ca for 38 years,Now back here. I love NM but it is 15 cold degress this morning. Yuk, But we have a quilt club that meets onces a month,and I try to sew everymorning . I have got three quilts in the works now.
