Hi! I'm from southern, NY. I have sewed for as long as I can remember. I have always sewed clothes and home decor. My sister has been trying to get me to quilt for sometime. 5 years ago I joined the embroidery craze. Now quilting seems to be the next step.

would you believe that dress is made out of Wal-Mart dollar fabric and lace I bought at a yard sale ($2.00 for a grocery bag full- my lucky day) the hole thing only cost about $8.00 in materials, and a week of sewing. In the sheer ovals I embroidered special things like 1. her date of birth, wt, length, 2. had daughter of..., 3. granddaughter of.....,4. the church she of the baptism and date, 5.parents favorite scripture 6. a message from her parents on how special she is to them.
