Very nice to meet you Elise. Hello from Ontario. You sound a lot like myself. I call myself a quilt piecer, since I send my quilts out to be machine quilted. The part of making the quilt that I love is definitely the planning, material buying and piecing. I've done some stitch in the ditch lap quilts and tied one, but just don't enjoy that part very much. I too came looking for a group to share my love of quilting with and believe me , You have found that place in these boards. I read more than I chat or comment. But, I've come to know a great bunch of creative and very caring people here on these boards. They inspire me daily. I've learned many things both about quilting and how to be a better person, all around. So glad that you found us here.
