Welcome from Prescott. Retired 10 years ago - you will love it! Barely quilting, but love reading the Board; almost entices me to try.

Welcome, from Ohio. I too let working full time get in the way of my quilting but have recently decided I must fit it in someway! Hope you enjoy getting into your first project.

I've heard the name and for some reason when I read your subject line that's what I thought of. I travel a lot (driving I-40) between Las Vegas, across Ariz to New Mexico and back, sometimes to Phoenix area too.

Howdy gals, I travel that same route all winter between Lake Havasu (almost to Parker) & Laughlin or Las Vegas. I can just imagine us passing ea. other yet we're on this site together.

Hi,
Well Grammy, in the words of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, "There's no ,like home." and this sure ain't Kansas. :D But I guess it beats living in Mexico where a lot of Americans retired.
It is a beautiful country here and it is much cheaper for my husband and I to live here then in the US on our retirement. He is Argentine and he has family here. Me I miss my family very much. I do back every year though it is hardly enough time or often enough.

Welcome from Reading, PA. I am still working and I have fatigue also, but I force myself to sit down and do something at the machine. It actually energizes me and I have to make myself stop at 10 pm to go to bed.
