I'm so glad to hear of someone else that only uses pre wound bobbins! I love them and use them ALL the time. I wish they had more basic colors besides black and white ones.

That is annoying about the low bobbin indicator! I try really hard to ignore it, but it's not easy. Where do I check to see if there is lint at the indicator?

What is all this talk about Pfaff blue bobbin holders? Never heard about them until I got on this message board. I just use pre wound bobbins and everything is great!

I don't think it is anything you can find or fix. I got mine taken care of when I took it in for a basic cleaning. After the fiasko with the new machine and the way it gets me all frustrated, I must say that a low bobbin indicator is no longer a "must have" for me. The thing about a low bobbin: eventually, we'll know that it is an "out of thread" bobbin. Usually it feels different immediately - so no time is lost in reseating with a full bobbin.

I have a Phaff sewing machine since 1982 and bought it new (will need to look up the model #)

I have #1212 i bought new in1973 . I use this one all time.
#1213 bought used & hade a 14 ? it was all in shop .
I love my pfaffs
