I new to the board, have been easedropping for a while. Love everything. I am a piecer, love making the tops, haven't started the quilting yet, I send that part out. Started making the tops about 10 years ago but quit. Move from big city to a very small town and got interested again. Have joined the local guild. Then was invited to join a small group of friends.

Hi and welcome to the board! We would love to see some of your quilt tops!! There is a board member here-Charismah-who does LA quilting for several people here, and she is magical-check some of her posts of quilts she has done. Maybe you would give her a try to LA your tops!

Welcome to the board. I've found that many quilters don't like to piece and vice versa. Each is creative in their own media. hats what makes the world go round. Often, a finished quilt is a work of art, just because of the two ways of expressing ones crativity.

I hated quilting.

HATED IT

However, hang around here long enough and these people will put the ever so gentle pressure on you to figure it out.

And once you dive in, it's actually not so bad and sorta fun sometimes. It's a good way to get out your frustrations.
