It is almnost time for summer to be over. We have had some rain that was very refreshing associated with tropical stuff. Do you other quilters quiver in the thunderstorms and unplug your machines?

Welcome from Louisiana! I have all my machines on surge protectors. I too am ready for below 90 degree days! Today is way too hot!

I'm from Northern California....where it is around 105 degrees and dry most of the summer. But we did have some thunder storms last week......pretty nerve racking!

There's not much of a season change down here.

Fall is always welcome here in Centennial, CO. It is our monsoon right now so we are getting heavy rains in the afternoon here. It hasn't been as hot as usual but it has still been hot. It is so pretty here in the fall and when all of the kids go back to school there is a feeling of peace and quiet and organization. I am looking forward to it more eagerly this year than every before.

welcome from New Hampshire! Fall is so pretty here. And it is my favorite season! It makes me want to quilt again, bake, buy local apples, make comfort foods....I just love it!
