I decided to join a message board because I live in the middle of Georgia where there are few quilters and it is a long way to a quilt shop. I moved here 2 1/2 years ago from northern Virginia where I was a member of a large guild and had many quilt shops at my finger tips. I need quilting companionship and inspiration. I have been quilting for 8 years and still consider myself a beginning quilter. I make mostly wall hangings and "snuggle quilts" for family and friends. I am excited to be a part of this board and look forward to getting to know you all. Marcia

I have been quilting for about 7 months now & find no end of assistance from the members when I am in doubt.
