Pat,
Hi from a former Texan, now living in VA. :-) I created a tutorial for easy 1/4" seams that might make things easier for you. Check here... http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-109768-4.htm#3778642 It's on page 4 of a previously posted tute. Jan in VA |
This may sound crazy..but everytime I over think and over pin ..I mess up..when I cut.. piece and do everything.. by the seat of my pants it comes out all right !!

I used to have that problem and I was really pretty accurate on my 1/4" seam. I now use a scant 1/4" and everything fits together nicely. Just a suggestion, good luck :-D

Hello, Welcome from Josephine, Texas.

Welcome from Missouri! I've been quilting for 40 years and still can't get the points to match every time. But I sure have fun trying!!! I try to be very careful with the 1/4 seams, but fabric is going to stretch at times--- I just don't worry about it, I just enjoy the process, colors and patterns.

Welcome to the board. You will like it a lot.
