Hi everyone,
I am a Ghanaian living in Athens, Ohio. To tell you the truth about me, I do not have any idea about quilting and have never sat before a sewing machine. I actually got to know alot about quilts (quiltingboard.com) from the internet, via youtube. I have developed high interest in quilting and it is actually the reason why I signed up with the quilting board. I really admire the tremendous designs on your website and I hope to be part of the contributors in future. Thank you. |
Welcome, as you have questions feel free to ask. Someone will have an answer.

Welcome to the boards....When I first started to make quilts, I spent a year just looking at books and playing with fabric. I had been sewing for my family and home for many years but somehow I felt I need take some time before diving into quilts. At one point I seriously asked myself I would ever even make a quilt. Once I started there is no looking back and that was over 35years ago. Now I hardly ever garment sew but yeah baby do I quilty sew....give your self permission to take the time you need to dive into this art form. I would suggest you keep a sketch book to record ideas as you go. I wish I had...it would help me understand my own quiting evolution.
