Welcome!!!

If you're talking about a tote bag type of thing, for me, I'd be leary of it, for fear of the crock tipping, and spilling the contents!

Sounds like a good idea though .... you'd want to make sure it was a very well made/sturdy tote, as a crock with contents is very heavy!

Pattil 06-14-2011 05:37 PM

Thanks everyone,I'll try searching for one again.

Hello and welcome from NW Wisconsin! Maybe search for 'casserole carrier' and consider how you could alter it to fit a crockpot.

My large crockpot came with a cover. It has a velcro closure and cutouts for the handles of the crockpot to fit thru. The top has a zipper around it. It just seems to be two ovals with a straight piece incorporated between that is open down one side with velcro to close it.

I bought one off the internet (don't remember where) but I use it for my big crock - it's black on the outside, silver lined which is washable and strong handles. I couldn't carry my crocks to church like I do without my bag. I think I paid under $15 .

I have one, but not the pattern. They cut a board to go in the bottom to make it stable. Love it. Zips up both sides and then you tie them so they hug the slow cooker. Use it ALL the time. I have one for a 13 X 9 pan as well.

craftybear 06-15-2011 04:30 PM

please post a picture of the one that you have, thanks
