If you're unfamilar with free motion or stitch in the ditch quilting and don't want to experiment on your first top you could send it out to be quilted or even check the local quilt shop for someone local. You also have the option of tying the quilt. Some even like tying better.

Hello & welcome from TN. Do you have a LQS nearby? Owners are usually happy to advise & let you consider which option is best for you.

Welcome from the Blue Ridge Mountains. Have you prepared your fabric for the back of the quil? Have you purchased your batting? Give us more info, dear, and someone on here will have the perfect answer for you. Also your LQS (local quilt shop) is a great source for information. They can usually refer you to a long arm quilter, or have classes that will help you.
