Welcome Carrie!! We're from the same neck of the woods :) and, yes, there is soooo much information to be learned from everyone's postings. As they say, you learn something new every day.

I had to look at a map to remember where Freeport is, i apparently don't get out much. I have lived in this area for over 20 years yet I am not familiar with much of anything to the west. Originally i am from near Philadelphia so i mostly know from here to there.

Some day, eventually/maybe i am going to make it that way so i can tour the Youghiogheny Glass Co. When/if i do, you can give me a list of all of the fabric shops to stop at :)

Welcome from NC! I have to agree with all your compliments of the QB. I also have learned so much and am continuing to do so. This group is so knowledgeable and generous both with sharing info and with sharing their goodies whether selling them at a great price or paying it forward with free stuff.

By the way, I love all the great names in the state of PA. I see you are from Shamokin. I just love saying that name along with Conshohowken and Manayunk along with others.
