I am new to quilting (mostly self taught) and new to this web site also. I just finished my first quilt. I was freaked about putting it together but a poster at a quilt shop I just found said "Better Finished than Perfect". I think I am to much of a perfectionist at times. This will be good for me.

I live in Oregon outside of Portland on 29 acres with my DH, 2 doodle dogs, 2 cats, and the 2 kids have just returned back to the nest. Guess I should have locked the door!

Love seeing all the pictues and reading all the tips.

Hello Everyone,

I am fairly new to this board. I live in Orange, CA. Right near Disneyland :) I love watching the fireworks at night !!! I have been doing crafts and sewing for over 40 years. I am very interested in machine embroidery now. I have a web site to sell machine embroidered quit squares. I love to learn about new projects and things to try.
